Obverse description Cast rectangular gold bar with a rough, hammered surface. The obverse bears Chinese characters reading 香港永華銀號 (Hong Kong Wing Wah Bank) alongside the Latin legend WING WAH BANK HONG KONG, with the numeral 5000 stamped at the left end denoting the fineness or denomination. A central oval seal with Chinese and Latin inscriptions is impressed into the field.
