Obverse description Rectangular cast gold bar with a raised cartouche at top bearing the issuer's name in Chinese characters (成信行, Cheng Xin Hang). A circular assay seal in relief occupies the upper central field, surrounded by numerals 1–11 indicating purity testing marks. Below, additional Chinese character stamps denote weight and fineness, with the denomination '5000' (referencing 5 tael weight) prominently displayed in the lower central field. A further rectangular cartouche at the base contains additional Chinese text relating to the issuing firm.
