| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as modelled by Raphael David Maklouf for the third definitive portrait introduced in 1985. The Queen is depicted wearing the George IV State Diadem, a delicate drop earring, and a pearl necklace, with softly sculpted hair. The engraver's initials RDM appear on the truncation of the bust. The Latin legend ELIZABETH II DEI·GRA·REG·F·D runs around the periphery, divided to the left and right of the effigy, with a milled border encircling the entire field. |
