| 背面描述 | Plain cross pattée dividing the field into four quadrants, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular pattern. An inner beaded circle encloses the central cross design, with a beaded outer border. The strike is typical of mid-17th century Catalan hammered silver coinage, showing irregularity consistent with hand-struck production. |

Camprodón's 1642 issue belongs to the Catalan revolt against Philip IV known as the Guerra dels Segadors — the Reapers' War — during which Catalonia briefly placed itself under French protection and minted its own coinage to fund the conflict. The Generalitat authorized emergency issues from several towns, and Camprodón, a small mountain town in the Pyrenean foothills, was among the lesser-utilized mints, which accounts for the relative scarcity of its output compared to Barcelona-struck pieces from the same period.
