正面描述	Central oval cartouche depicting the Fête de la Fédération of 14 July 1790, with allegorical figures gathered around an altar bearing a shield, flags in the background, and a seated figure holding the Constitution of the French Nation at left. The legend VIVRE LIBRE OU MOURIR flanks the device peripherally, with PACTE FEDERATIF appearing above within the scene and the date XIIII JUILLET MDCCXC in the exergue. The engraver's signature DUPRE. F. appears in the lower left field.
