Obverse description Central field features a snow lion in profile facing left, rendered in low relief and surrounded by elaborate scroll ornaments. The lion and scrollwork are enclosed within the petals of an eight-petalled lotus flower, which itself is encircled by a legend in Tibetan script. The overall design is framed by a beaded border, lending the composition a formal, mandala-like symmetry characteristic of Tibetan coinage of the period.

Reverse description Central motif depicts a dharma wheel (dharmachakra) rendered in bold relief, with radiating spokes and a circular hub, evoking traditional Tibetan Buddhist iconography. The wheel is encircled by a Tibetan legend arranged around the field, with dot separators dividing the inscriptional elements. The entire design is contained within a beaded border consistent with the obverse. The reverse inscription records the Tibetan calendrical cycle, year, and denomination.
