| Obverse description | Central field features a snow lion in left profile, rendered within an elaborate cartouche of foliate and cloud scroll ornaments. Surrounding the central motif, the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan Buddhism (Ashtamangala) are arranged in a ring: the white parasol, conch shell, treasure vase, victory banner, dharma wheel, pair of golden fish, endless knot, and lotus flower. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border, with the decorative elements executed in a refined, stylized Tibetan artistic tradition. |
