| Obverse description | Typeset voucher in black letterpress within a plain rectangular border, with the denomination "FIVE SHILLINGS" and flanking "5/-" numerals printed in green. "GENERAL STRIKE" appears at top and "AGAINST BRITISH MILITARISM" at foot; date and place "April 1919. LIMERICK." run vertically in the side margins. An oval validation stamp of the Mechanic's Institute, Limerick is applied in purple, with manuscript signatures of the Chairman and Treasurer below the issuing authority line. |
