The Provincial Bank of Sodor is a fictional institution from the Thomas the Tank Engine universe, and this note is a fantasy or novelty piece issued for collector purposes with no monetary function. Matej Gabris is a Slovak designer known for producing technically accomplished fantasy banknotes, some of which circulate in collector markets as curiosities rather than fraudulent instruments.
No central bank recognition, no legal tender status anywhere. The watermark is a cosmetic nod to security printing conventions.
