The INA Retro series was produced by the International Numismatic Agency in Birmingham as modern fantasy strikes — pieces that reference historical British coinage types without reproducing any specific original issue. George IV reigned from 1820 to 1830, a period when genuine crown-sized coinage went through considerable revision under engraver Benedetto Pistrucci and later William Wyon. This piece borrows that prestige without belonging to it.
Collector interest in the Retro series tends to be narrow and specific — these are novelty issues, not numismatic scholarship.
