Beschrijving voorzijde	Intaglio-engraved note with three distinct vignette zones: the upper central oval frames a classical allegorical female figure seated among bales and barrels with a tall-masted sailing vessel in the background, enclosed within an ornate wreath border, flanked by denomination panels reading "FIVE SHILLINGS" at upper left and right with elaborate guilloche work extending vertically along the right margin. A standing female figure occupies the left-margin vignette, while a lower central vignette presents an agricultural or industrial scene with working figures. The cursive promise text of the Charlotte County Bank of New Brunswick runs across the central field, with spaces for manuscript date, number, cashier, and president signatures.
