背面描述 Oval hammered flan bearing the Shi'a kalima in bold naskh script arranged in three horizontal registers across the full field. The upper register reads 'La ilaha illa Allah' (There is no god but God), the central register carries 'Muhammad Rasul Allah' (Muhammad is the Messenger of God), and the lower register bears 'Ali Wali Allah' (Ali is the Friend of God), the distinctive Twelver Shi'a addition that is a hallmark of Safavid coinage. The inscription is deeply struck in raised relief against a smooth silver ground, with the lines separated by plain horizontal rules. The irregular flan edges exhibit typical hammered characteristics of provincial Safavid mint production.

附加信息

Struck at Tiflis — modern Tbilisi — during a period when Safavid control over the Caucasus was fracturing badly. The mint operated under governors whose loyalty to Isfahan was increasingly nominal; by 1722, Peter the Great's forces would push into the Caspian littoral and the Afghans would sack the Safavid capital itself. This coin predates that collapse by only a few years.

Hussain ibn Sulayman is Sultan Husayn, last effective Safavid shah before the Afghan Hotaki invasion. Tiflis-mint silver from his reign is scarcer than Isfahan or Tabriz output — the Georgian mint's production was intermittent and politically contingent.
