Obverse description Central device depicts the traditional Bhutanese royal emblem consisting of two intertwined dragons encircling a lotus rosette and a thunder-bolt (dorje), rendered in high relief against a polished field. The legend KINGDOM OF BHUTAN arcs along the upper periphery in Latin characters, while the date 1992 appears twice flanking the central device at the lower sides. A Dzongkha inscription in the Tibetan script occupies the lower arc of the coin beneath the central motif. The overall design reflects the classical Bhutanese decorative tradition associated with royal coinage.
