| Aanvullende informatie |
Pattern coins from the Central Bank of the Philippines in this period were produced as the Marcos administration worked to redesign the national coinage following his 1965 election — a project that ultimately resulted in the Pilipino series issued from 1967 onward. Most approved designs went through multiple pattern stages, and copper strikings were often test pieces evaluating planchet behavior rather than final design submissions.
Survivors in institutional or private collections are rarely documented with full provenance, as Philippine pattern coinage of this era was inconsistently catalogued by the mint.
