Obverse description Central round hole surrounded by the country name rendered in flowing Jawi (Arabic) script, reading إندونيسيا (Indonesia), arranged around the perforation across the field. The inscription is executed in raised relief with characteristically cursive letterforms typical of early Indonesian coinage. The plain field frames the script without additional ornamental devices.
