Reverse description Central round hole framed by a finely beaded inner border, around which a sinuous serpentine or naga-form decorative motif winds in an elegant curve, rendered in high relief against the plain recessed field. Thai legends in traditional script are arranged around the periphery in three groups: 'สยามรัฐ' (State of Siam) to the left, '๕' (5) at the bottom, and 'สตางค์' (Satang) to the right. The outer rim is milled. The design reflects the refined court aesthetic of the Chakri dynasty under Rama V.
