The denomination R. 5.- Lima Rupiah R. 5.- is printed in large bold type across the centre, with serial numbers at upper left and upper right, and two manuscript signatures at lower left and lower right above the designations Komisi Keuangan and Residen N.R.I. Djambi.

Opis rewersu	Plain reverse with a block of printed Indonesian text stating that the coupon is valid only in the Djambi Region as a temporary legal means of exchange, and that redemption against ORIPS banknotes of R. 100.- (Seratus rupiah) and R. 25.- (Dua puluh lima rupiah) is guaranteed at all times by the Kas Negara Djambi. The date Djambi, 17 November 1947 appears at lower right, with a partially visible official stamp at lower left.
