| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Republic of Seychelles occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing a coco-de-mer palm tree, a giant tortoise, and a sailing ship, supported by two swordfish flanking the escutcheon. A scrolled ribbon beneath the shield bears the Latin motto FINIS·CORONAT·OPVS. The circular legend REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES arcs around the upper periphery, with the date 2013 positioned at the base. A small Pobjoy Mint privy mark appears in the lower field. |
