His facsimile signature appears in Tamil script directly below the portrait. The commemorative legend 'PERARIGNAR ANNA CENTENARY' is inscribed in Latin along the upper periphery, with the Devanagari inscription 'पेररिग्नर अन्ना जन्मशती' appearing along the left periphery. The Tamil rendering 'அண்ணாதுரை' appears in the lower centre field, with the birth and death years '1909-1969' inscribed along the lower periphery flanked by decorative dots. |
