| 正面描述 | Left-facing bust of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and a western-style suit and tie. The effigy is centrally positioned within a plain field, bordered by a beaded inner circle. Urdu legends arc along the left and right periphery identifying the subject and the issuing state, while the date 2001 appears in Arabic numerals at the base flanked by additional Urdu script. |

Pakistan's 5 rupee denomination had already been circulating in cupro-nickel since 1991, which makes this aluminium striking almost certainly a weight-reduction trial — the State Bank was under recurring pressure in the late 1990s to cut coin production costs as the rupee depreciated sharply following the 1998 nuclear test sanctions. It never entered circulation. Pattern pieces from this period rarely surface, and KM# Pn102 appears in only a handful of documented collections.
