| Obverse description | The Lion Capital of Ashoka, depicting three lions sejant upon an abacus adorned with a frieze of animals and the Dharma Chakra, occupies the central field. The motto सत्यमेव जयते (Satyameva Jayate) appears in Devanagari script immediately below the capital, with the large numeral '5' beneath it.
