Commenti	The Government of Seychelles issued this note under wartime emergency conditions, when normal currency supply chains across the Indian Ocean were severely disrupted. Thomas De La Rue printed the series in London despite the logistical difficulties of the period — shipping finished notes to a remote colonial dependency during active hostilities was itself a minor operation. Pick 8 is scarce in any grade. Wartime issues from small colonial dependencies rarely survive in quantity; local populations had little reason to preserve them, and post-war redemption programs absorbed much of the remainder.
