Bradbury Wilkinson printed the entire P#58 series across six years with remarkably little change — the signature combinations shifted twice, but the plate design itself was not updated between the 1956 and 1962 dates. U.B. Wanninayake replaced J.E. Dias as one signatory from the 1959 issues onward, reflecting a change in the Central Bank's senior appointments rather than any reissue event.
Ceylon would not become Sri Lanka until 1972, so this note predates the constitutional rupture that forced a complete redesign of the currency series.
