| Reverse description | A large, highly detailed spiny lobster (Panulirus sp.) is depicted in full frontal view at the centre of the field, its claws and antennae splayed outward in a naturalistic manner, symbolising the marine food resources of the Maldives in the context of the FAO 'Food for All' campaign. The denomination '5 RUFIYAA' is inscribed across the body of the lobster in the lower central field. The circular legend reads 'އެންމެނަށް ކާނާ' in Thaana script along the left periphery and 'FOOD FOR ALL' in Latin characters along the right periphery, separated by small pellet stops. A finely reeded border frames the entire reverse. |
