Reverse description The denomination 5 РУБЛЕЙ (5 Roubles) is boldly inscribed in two lines at centre, with the numeral 5 above in smaller characters flanked by floral ornaments and the inscription ИЗЪ РОЗС. КОЛЫВ. (From the placers of Kolyvan) arching above. A decorative floral sprig divides the central inscription from the date 1832 below, with the mint mark С.П.Б. (Saint Petersburg) in the exergue. The entire design is encircled by a raised inner border bearing the continuous legend ЧИСТАГО ЗОЛОТА 1 ЗОЛОТНИКЪ 39 ДОЛЕЙ (Pure Gold 1 Zolotnik 39 Dolyas), all contained within a finely milled outer border.
