Reverse description The reverse bears a sculptural relief depicting a fragment of the 'Mound of Glory' memorial complex, located in the Smolyevichi District of the Minsk Region of Belarus. Encircling the central design along the rim are two inscriptions divided by asterisks: the upper legend reads 'БЕЛОРУССКАЯ ОПЕРАЦИЯ' (The Belarusian Operation), and the lower legend reads 'ВЕЛИКАЯ ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННАЯ ВОЙНА 1941-1945 гг.' (Great Patriotic War 1941–1945). The composition commemorates the Soviet offensive campaign of 1944, also known as Operation Bagration.
