On the left stands the imposing iwan facade of a ruined medieval structure with pointed arched niches and decorative brickwork, while to the right is a well-preserved mausoleum with a domed roof and arched portal. Above the architectural scene, the legend МЕРВ arcs prominently in a stylized Cyrillic script, with the commemorative inscription 2500 ЛЕТ (2500 years) below it in an ornamental cartouche.
