The eagle's breast bears the Moscow shield depicting St. George slaying the dragon. The talons hold a sceptre and an orb, and the wings are decorated with multiple provincial shield cartouches. Below the eagle, the denomination and date are inscribed in two lines reading 5 РУБЛЕЙ followed by the year and the mint-master initial Г., all enclosed within a beaded border. |
