Obverse description The right portion of the obverse carries an intaglio vignette of the Troitsk Suburb (Траецкае прадмесце) in Minsk, rendered in dark red and olive tones with a church spire rising above the historic riverside streetscape. A framed ornamental panel in the upper left displays a traditional Belarusian folk-pattern motif in orange, set over a multicolour guilloche underprint that covers the entire field. The large denomination numeral "5" in a scalloped guilloche cartouche occupies the lower left, with the Cyrillic inscription "ПЯЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" in bold lettering at the upper right.
