正面描述	The obverse presents a vignette of the monument to Peter the Great set against a fine guilloche underprint of pale blue and ochre tones. To the right, a central inset vignette depicts the Arkhangelsk river terminal with a passenger vessel moored at the quay. The heading БИЛЕТ БАНКА РОССИИ appears in Cyrillic along the upper margin, with the denomination numeral 5 at upper right and ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ in bold letterpress along the lower margin.

背面描述	The reverse is dominated by a scroll-framed oval vignette of the Solovetsky Monastery rendered in blue intaglio, captioned СОЛОВЕЦКИЙ МОНАСТЫРЬ-ПАМЯТНИК АРХИТЕКТУРЫ XVI–XVII В.В. To the left stands a vignette of a modernist high-rise building with a television tower. The large denomination figures 5 and ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ appear in bold at centre-right, with the year 1995 at lower right and the anti-counterfeiting warning in Cyrillic along the bottom margin.
