| Obverse description | Black text on pale blue-green guilloche underprint. The upper portion carries the issuing authority inscription in Cyrillic, identifying the Erivan Branch of the State Bank and a special current account of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The denomination '5 Руб.' appears at the upper right, with the date 'Эривань, Августъ 1919 г.' and a hand-written promise-to-pay clause below, followed by two manuscript signatures of the Minister-Chairman and the Director of the Ministry of Finance. The left margin bears a vertical Cyrillic bank inscription within a decorative border. |
