备注

Finland was an autonomous Grand Duchy of Russia during this period, and the Bank of Finland issued notes denominated in Russian roubles rather than any Finnish unit — a situation that would persist until the markka was introduced in 1860. This note therefore predates Finnish monetary independence by nearly two decades at its earliest issue date, circulating under a monetary system dictated entirely by St. Petersburg.

The long issue window of over twenty years reflects the practice of reusing plate designs rather than commissioning fresh printings each decade. Notes from the earlier part of this range are considerably scarcer than those from the 1850s.
