| Obverse description | The State Arms of the USSR occupies the central vignette, set within an ornate guilloche frame with scrollwork borders and stylised wheat sheaf motifs flanking the numeral 5 at lower left and right. The title inscription runs across the top, with the denomination rendered in large Cyrillic lettering beneath the arms.
