| 背面描述 | The left portion of the reverse carries an intaglio vignette of the Qatar National Museum with its characteristic arcaded facade and arched fenestration, with Arabian oryx and a dromedary camel in the foreground. The central and right fields are filled with concentric guilloche rosettes and geometric Islamic latticework surrounding a decorative arabesque medallion. The denomination '5' and 'Five Riyals' appear in the lower corners in both Arabic and English lettering. |

| 备注 |
Qatar Central Bank's 2003 series marked the institution's first major redesign since the Qatar and Dubai Currency Board notes of the 1960s. Thomas De La Rue has printed Qatari currency continuously since those earliest issues, making this one of the longer unbroken printer-issuer relationships in Gulf note production.
The watermark is the sole listed security feature — modest by the standards of the period, when most contemporaneous Gulf issues were incorporating security threads and color-shifting inks as baseline specifications.
