The tower's ornate façade and flanking structures are rendered in fine detail. An Arabic legend arcs along the upper rim reading the Arabic equivalent of 'Twenty-Fifth National Day Anniversary 1995', with the Latin inscription TWENTY FIFTH NATIONAL DAY ANNIVERSARY 1995 following the lower periphery.
