| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central device features the Reichsadler, a stylized Imperial eagle with wings spread and head turned to the right, rendered in high relief against a plain field. The denomination '5 Reichsmark' appears in Gothic script along the lower arc, flanked on each side by a swastika. The date '1935' is split to either side of the eagle's body, with '19' to the left and '35' to the right. The legend 'Deutsches Reich' curves along the upper periphery in Gothic lettering. The coin is struck with a beaded border and bears the inscription 'Probe' (Pattern) on the obverse, indicating its status as a trial piece. |
