| Obverse description | The obverse presents a forward-facing Reichsadler (imperial eagle) with wings dramatically spread downward, rendered in finely detailed relief with carefully engraved feathering throughout the breast and wing plumage. The eagle stands with talons clutching a decorative foliate spray at the base of the design.
