| Obverse description | Within a broad, flat raised rim with a recessed trough, a central sunken medallion displays a stylized German imperial eagle with wings spread and head turned to the right, rendered in a medievalizing decorative style with elaborately feathered plumage and foliate scroll motifs at the base. The circular legend DEUTSCHES REICH curves around the upper portion of the medallion field, with the date 1925 positioned at the bottom, flanking the eagle's talons. The overall design, characteristic of Karl Goetz's artistic idiom, combines heraldic formality with rich ornamental detail in low relief against a recessed field. |
