正面描述	Central field features a large stylized Arabic numeral '5' rendered within a decorative oval cartouche with horizontal line ornamentation. The legend 'الجمهورية العربية المتحدة' (United Arab Republic) curves along the upper periphery in Arabic script. Below the central device, the denomination 'خمسة قروش' (Five Qirsh) is inscribed in the field. The lower register is occupied by an ornate arabesque floral and foliate decorative band. The entire design is framed by a beaded border.
