Mô tả mặt trước	The elaborate calligraphic tughra of Sultan Abdulmecid I occupies the central field, rendered in fine relief with characteristic interlocking loops and vertical shafts. A decorative floral sprig appears to the right of the tughra. The Arabic numeral denomination '٥' (5) is inscribed below the tughra in the lower field. The coin is encircled by a milled or beaded border following the coin's rim.

Mô tả mặt sau	The reverse bears a three-line Arabic inscription in elegant Naskh script, reading 'ضرب في مصر' (Struck in Egypt) in the upper portion, with the regnal year appearing above and the AH accession date '١٢٥٥' (1255) displayed prominently in the lower field. The legends are arranged centrally within a plain field, enclosed by a milled border along the rim.
