| Obverse description | Central design features a stylized flame or torch motif flanked by two circular medallions bearing Arabic inscriptions, all set against a field with decorative Arabic calligraphic legends. A prominent multi-line Arabic inscription occupies the lower central field, identifying the Arab Republic of Egypt and the commemorated event. The dual Hijri and Gregorian date '١٤٠٥ - ١٩٨٥' appears in the exergue along the lower rim. The entire design is surrounded by a beaded border. |
