Obverse description Left-facing veiled and crowned effigy of Queen Victoria in the Jubilee portrait, modelled by Joseph Edgar Boehm, wearing a small state crown atop a lace veil that cascades over her shoulders, a pearl drop earring, a pearl necklace, and robes secured with a bow brooch suspending an oval medallion. The bust is draped and finely detailed, with the engraver's initials J.E.B. visible at the truncation.
