| Obverse description | A panoramic vignette of Douglas harbour occupies the upper centre of the note, rendered in fine intaglio engraving with a detailed coastal townscape and vessels on calm water. Serial numbers appear at upper left and upper right, flanked by guilloché rosette panels, with the triskele emblem in a circular cartouche at lower right and the issuing bank's arms at lower left.
