| Reverse description | The reverse displays a stylized commemorative composition centered on a large '150' numeral rendered in bold graphic design, incorporating a set of scales of justice within the numeral's framework, symbolizing the Faculty of Law. Above, a domed architectural element representing Cairo University's law faculty building is depicted at the top center of the field. The Arabic legend 'كلية الحقوق - جامعة القاهرة' (Faculty of Law - Cairo University) arcs along the upper periphery, flanking the dome. The founding and centenary dates '1868 - 2018' appear in Latin numerals below the central motif, accompanied by the Arabic inscription 'عاما' (years). The engravers' initials 'N.F.' and 'A.Sh.' are noted in the lower right field, and the design is framed by a beaded inner border. |

| Additional information |
Cairo University's Faculty of Law, founded in 1906, was the first modern law school in Egypt and produced a remarkable number of figures who shaped twentieth-century Arab nationalism and governance — Boutros Boutros-Ghali among them. Egypt's commemorative gold program has issued dozens of institutional tributes of this type, most in very limited quantities distributed through the banking system rather than general circulation.
