| Reverse description | The White Horse of Hanover rearing on its hind legs in a dynamic, sculptural pose, occupying the central field. The horse supports a quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of the United Kingdom as used during the Hanoverian period, with charges including three passant guardant lions, fleurs-de-lis, a harp, and the white horse of Hanover itself in the fourth quarter.
