| 背面描述 | Finely engraved veiled effigy of Queen Victoria facing right, depicted in the celebrated Jubilee or 'Widow's Veil' portrait style, wearing the Small Diamond Crown and a lace veil falling behind, with a pearl and jewel necklace at the décolletage. The portrait is rendered in high relief, capturing the mature likeness of the Queen-Empress with exceptional sculptural detail. The circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, and the engraver's initials LB appear in the lower right field of the coin. |

The "Veiled Portrait" references the effigy used on British and Commonwealth coinage from 1893 to 1900, when an aging Queen Victoria was depicted wearing a veil and small crown — a design by Thomas Brock that replaced the earlier Jubilee head. Its appearance on a 2019 Isle of Man issue marks the 200th anniversary of Victoria's birth. The Isle of Man has long operated its own coinage authority independently of the Royal Mint, giving it latitude to issue commemorative denominations and portraits that strictly British issues would not accommodate.
