Tristan da Cunha, a British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic with a permanent population under 300, issues coins primarily for the collector market — they see no meaningful circulation. This 2018 piece is struck in Jasperware, the distinctive unglazed stoneware developed by Josiah Wedgwood in the 1770s, most famously produced in pale blue with white relief figures.
