| Additional information |
Issued to mark the Golden Jubilee of Elizabeth II, this is one of dozens of near-identical five-pound crown pieces that flooded the commemorative market in 2002 from British Crown Dependencies and overseas territories. Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, and several others all produced their own versions, creating a glut that did little for secondary market values. The title "The Work Continues" refers to the ongoing nature of the Queen's service — a theme shared across multiple issues in the series.
