| Beschrijving keerzijde | A naturalistic depiction of an Atlantic Puffin standing upright on a rocky outcrop, its distinctive colourful beak and plumage rendered in fine detail against a stylized background suggesting open ocean waves. The denomination FIVE POUNDS is inscribed along the upper arc of the legend, while the purity mark .999 FINE Ag and the weight designation 1 TROY OZ appear in the lower left field. The composition creates a balanced interplay between the central wildlife motif and the surrounding legend, consistent with the artistic approach of designer Joel Iskowitz. A beaded border circumscribes the entire reverse design. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Alderney's puffin coinage has an oddly genuine connection to the bird — the island's waters and cliffs support one of the Channel Islands' most accessible Atlantic puffin colonies, making it less a marketing conceit than an actual local fact. The 2019 bullion issue was struck under the authority of the Royal Mint on behalf of the Crown Dependency, which lacks its own minting facility.
