| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central design features a detailed relief of a four-door Morris Minor saloon car rendered in three-quarter perspective, facing left, with a man and woman standing beside the rear of the vehicle. In the background, a stylised English rural scene is depicted, including a large deciduous tree and a parish church with a pointed steeple. The legend MORRIS MINOR arcs across the upper field in raised lettering, while the production dates 1948 - 1971 appear in the lower field beneath the car, commemorating the full span of the model's manufacture. The design is engraved by Robert Elderton. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Alderney's commemorative program has long targeted British nostalgia, and the Morris Minor fits squarely in that tradition. Designed by Alec Issigonis before he turned his attention to the Mini, the Minor was produced from 1948 to 1972 — the longest production run of any single British car at the time — with total output exceeding 1.6 million units.
Alderney itself has no mint facility; these pieces are struck at the Pobjoy Mint in Surrey under license from the States of Alderney.
